"I seldom take the time to recommend people on public forums, but in this case, I was so pleased with my experience in working with Ryan Prendergast, that I felt the need to get my recommendation out there for him!

In the past, I have always sold my homes without a realtor and planned to do the same on the sale of this home. I actually had already posted it online and was ready to show the property when Ryan entered the picture. Through our conversation I realized there could be personalities and or legal situations that I didn’t have patience for nor the time to deal with. Ryan also believed he would be able to get better than my asking price without the headache of me personally dealing with all the issues that can come up in the process.

In the end, an issue did arise. The preapproved buyer’s financing source repeatedly dropped the ball and did not communicate consistently with any parties involved. We were asked and agreed to give a week’s extension as the buyer was well qualified and the holdups were clearly not his fault.

During that week, a family member of the buyer (not on the contract) who did not like the buyer’s agent got involved. This family member turned it in a direction that was something we had no desire to get involved with and we decided to back out after the extension expired.

I can’t speak highly enough about Ryan’s professionalism in handling this very unusual situation that involved a lot of back and forth.

He put the house back on the market and quickly made the sale! I ended up with a better price than what had just fallen apart and the avoidance of dealing with the details and stress that came up in the process.
